Your Child’s First Dental Visit
We recommend establishing a dental home by your child’s first birthday or when their first tooth comes in, whichever happens first. We believe that positive dental experiences early on help kids take more active roles in their oral health and also allows them to feel comfortable in the care of a dentist. At their initial visit, we’ll take some time to get to know you and your little one. Dr. Wargel and Dr. Hani will also examine their mouth to see how their teeth are developing and if there are any abnormalities. The first visit is to set a benchmark for your child’s dental health and start building a relationship with your child so that they don’t feel scared or fearful as they get older.

In an effort to help your child feel relaxed and entertained while they’re here, we have a designated kids’ zone where they can play video games, read books, and get their mind off of their appointment. Our kids’ zone was designed to help ease anxiety and allow kids to get their wiggles out before they have to sit in the dental chair.
